Canberra is a unique and challenging training market with needs different to those of other capital cities. Since launching in 2007, Capital Training Institute (CTI) has started to see positive signs linked to the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and specifically training opportunities linked to the public sector in general.Established in July 2007, CTI quickly became the largest provider of building and construction training in the ACT. Additionally, CTI works with more than 1,000 small to medium businesses based in the ACT and surrounding region, delivering over 1,000 training sessions per year throughout the territory.As the leading provider of nationally recognised training and courses in Canberra and the wider ACT region, CTI has created a range of training programs designed to benefit a number of industries. With ACT courses available in Work Health and Safety (WHS), and Hospitality, among others, CTI can assist a huge number of individuals to formalise their skills and knowledge while accessing the qualifications needed to achieve accreditation.
